You know… in Gal. 6:2; Gal 5:14 or even 1 Cor. 9:21 … it all speaks of the law of Christ, fulfilling it, or us being under that law…but what is that law and how do we as Christians fulfil it?

Today I'd like give just a short message on how “WE TOO” can fulfil the law of Christ just as He did; in which the one and the only way we can really do this is… is by love, plain and simple. It’s loving YHVH [YAH] our God with all our heart, and with all our soul, and with all our mind and with all our strength and having a reverent fear (Deut 10:20) for him as the awesome king that he is. This I might add is really the key I believe in defeating sin in our lives – Today, we don’t revere God, we don’t tremble at the sight of sin, why? Because we live in a world where there’s no longer a conscience for doing wrong it seems – and when we don’t see the consciences we think we can get away with it, and so there’s no real reverence or fear for the law or of God, and so there’s no respect, and when there’s no respect, then there’s no love /thus failing to keep this first commandment. This is why Jesus /or Yeshua said that this is the first and greatest commandment (Deut 6:5; Mark 12:30; Luke 10:27). Because loving God is what makes truly loving your neighbour even possible (Matt. 19:26).

The second of this great commandment I might add is… to love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12:31) without holding hatred towards him (Lev 19:17), to carry one's burdens (Gal 6:2), to wisely rebuke him when he is wrong and so clearing yourself also of wrong; for not warning him of his (Lev 19:17); and yes, this entails a degree of judging on our part, not in condemnation but in restoration, a restoring of one’s soul, which we are accountable for (Eze. 33:8). There is no other commandment greater than these, and when we do all this (Mark 12:31), the world will know that we are his disciples (John 13:35) by the love that they see.

In fact, this is the summary of the law; they hinge on these two commandments (Matt. 22:40)... a new law which Christ proclaimed. Not ah… doing away with God's law as some suggest, but a fulfilling or properly interpreting the way it was intended to be lived to begin with (Matt 5:17), not in an unloving legalistic or fear of what God will do to us if we don't obey way, but in a loving way toward… our God and man, thus fulfilling the law through love, not fear.
