So… is the Seventh-day of creation still holy, as it was at the beginning of creation?

The other day, I was reading Numbers 22-23….. And It’s kind of a short story about a guy named Balaam and a king by the name of Balak, anyway this king basically wanted Balaam (this prophet) to put a curse on Israel. But Balaam’s reply to this king is pretty cool and really an eye-opener as to why it prompted this question and title to this video; he says in Numbers 23:8, “... how can I denounce what the LORD has not denounced?” and again in verses 19-20 he says, “... God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should “change his mind”... Behold, I have received a command to bless; and what He has blessed, I cannot change.”
… and... it really got me to think on how so many Christians flat out “denounce” (that which God Himself has not denounced, that being the Sabbath) /and are like almost angrily “defiant” (or denounce, as defiant also means) as being Jews and no longer required for believers in Christ, for our rest is now in Christ, right?… and while this is true, there is no direct verse that states that our rest in Christ has somehow replaced the Seventh-day Sabbath. But... I don’t really want to go there because the question I ask “IS NOT”, are Christians required to keep the Sabbath, its, “Is the Seventh-day of creation still holy, today”… in the age we live in. And this is an important question, especially if we “as followers of Christ” say we have any reverence for God at all and not wanting to be accused of sacrilege on that great day of judgement (Ecc. 12:14).
But let’s go back to the beginning, in Genesis chapter 2 Now we read that when God made the Seventh-day, he made it holy and sanctified it and as Balaam said, “God is not a man that He should change his mind on something... and the holiness of the Seventh-day is no exception, for we even read in scripture that God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets - Amos 3:7. So I ask you… where in Scripture has God rescinded or retracted the holiness of the Seventh-day? Nowhere… the reverence of Sunday is a noble gesture in respect to Christ resurrection, but not commanded by God anywhere in Scripture to keep as a Sabbath… it’s a man-made tradition of the church, which I might add is notorious for upholding church tradition over the word of God… Christmas and Easter for example.
Also, those who do say the Seventh-day Sabbath is no longer for us Christian to observe or rest on, what they're basically saying is what God declared Holy and sanctified at the time of creation, before the law, or before sin even entered into the world… is no more. My question then to you is, how can he be trusted when He promises us salvation for all those who trust in the blood Jesus Christ for the atonement for our sins and for making us holy before a living God, who is our Father?… YOU CAN’T!!!... as that too will fade away over time or be dismissed through a mishandling of Scripture.
But hey, thank you for watching this blog… may the grace of our Lord Yeshua and the love of God be with you all, and remember the words of Jesus… the Sabbath or Seventh-day was made for man… may you find rest in Him and these words that He said… later.
But one last thing check out some commentaries on Genesis 2:3, it may surprise you. One example...
…”at this time none of the human race were in being but our first parents. For them, the Sabbath was appointed, and clearly for all succeeding generations also” - Matthew Henry commentary.
